Jim Townsley

Co-Pastor

Pastor Jim Townsley and his wife Janet, upon graduation from college in 1975, founded Central Baptist Church in Southington, CT. Under his leadership the church began Central Christian Academy in 1984, New England School of the Bible in 1992 and New England Baptist College in 2004. Today several buildings grace the campus situated on eighteen acres in with wonderful community of Southington. Pastor Townsley is the author of several books and a leader in church planting, holding conferences nationwide. 

Joel Boyle

Co-Pastor

Pastor Joel Boyle grew up in a pastor’s home in western North Carolina. He was saved at a young age, and he submitted to the call to preach in the year 2000. He was one of the first students to attend New England Baptist College where he completed his ministry training. God has blessed him with a wonderful wife, Sarah, and four children. 

Jared Petrie

Assistant Pastor

Bro. Petrie grew up in a Christian home in Saratoga Springs, New York and was saved at a young age. Jared then came to New England Baptist College where he met and married his wife, Anna. They have three children and are involved in many areas of practical Church ministry as they help believers to build their lives upon God’s Word!
