After fifty years of pastoring Central Baptist Church in Southington, CT, I am dedicating the rest of my life to supporting pastors and churches. My mission is to bring fresh perspectives to your ministry and offer practical insights to strengthen your church. This ministry has long been needed, as successful businesses have benefited from professional consultants for decades; churches can likewise gain from an experienced outside perspective.

Common Reasons to Consider a Church Review

Your church has a declining membership.
Your church needs younger families.
Your church needs help with its online presence.

ONLINE QUESTIONAIRE

The Church Review is a three-day weekend with a plan to observe and discuss ideas that will strengthen your ministry.

Intially, the pastor fills out a questionaire prior to the visit, detailing the status of the pastor’s ministry and the church.
After arriving, Pastor Townsley would then meet with the pastor to discuss the questionaire and tour the church property.
On Sunday, Pastor Townsley would attend Sunday School and the morning service as a visitor and observer.
On Sunday evening, Pastor Townsley would preach and present a vision for the church.
Monday morning: A meeting with the Pastor would be scheduled to present a two-year plan for himself, as well as a two-year plan for the church.
Monday night: A meeting would be scheduled with key individuals and leaders who will help to fulfill the vision of the church.
Finally, an appraisal report with suggestions and ideas to strengthen the church would be presented to the Pastor and church.
This weekend is very intense and typically involves 12-14 hours of personal counsel with the pastor.
